People who live in Victoria, British Columbia, and would like to actively follow and their favorite sports or other athletic endeavors of high quality! And because of our temperate climate, there are sporting activities happening throughout the calendar year, providing entertainment for sports fans years of Victoria.
We can have the weather forecast in the country, but hey, it’s always Canada! Then, one of the most popular spectator sport in Victoria should be hockey, and there are two teams that fans love to see the Victoria and support:
· The Royal Victoria is a junior hockey team in the Western Hockey League (WHL) to play. They moved in 2011 from Chilliwack, and play from the Save-On-Foods Arena (SOFA) and
· The Victoria Grizzlies are a Tier II Junior A team playing in the BCHL (Iceland Division). These young guns to play professional hockey aspirations to play a quick game entertaining, always trying to prove to scouts hidden in the audience.
Lacrosse, the other Canadian sport par excellence, has a long and rich history in Victoria through the Victoria Shamrocks of the WLA. The team has been in continuous operation since 1950 and has won eight of Cup Canadian Senior “A” Championship! continue reading…
